Phillip Dismuke believes in the power of bringing a little joy to people’s lives. He started working at Jewelsmith in 1991 and loves the relaxed atmosphere and that Jewelsmith provides a free lunch on Saturdays.

He considers his biggest accomplishment as a designer/goldsmith to be placing fifth in the world in the Japanese Pearl Competition. He is always trying to improve and to build on previous work.

In his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his daughter and enjoying the simple things in life.

He loves designing with pearls and his favorite gemstone is tourmaline. He loves that pearls are easy to work with and that tourmaline is both durable and comes in so many different colors.
